To safely and uniformly shrink Insultab’s assorted heat shrink tubing products, use safe heat shrink tools: a heat gun, heat oven or flameless lighter.
Open flame sources of heat are not recommended. They may burn or damage the tubing and may not ensure uniform shrinking.
A hair dryer will not produce sufficient heat to properly shrink tubing.
